About the evening
4.26M social media user identities in Ireland, equal to about 80% of the population. Someone else decides what they see.
DataReportal, Digital 2026: Ireland
Feeds, reviews and comments decide whether people find you, and what they think when they do. Algorithms make many of those calls, and the EU's Digital Services Act requires online platforms to explain the main factors behind their recommendations.
Episode 2 is about seeing that system clearly, and using AI to listen to customers better without fooling yourself. Speaker announced soon.
You'll leave knowing
- Who controls your feed? How recommendation systems pick what your customers see, and what they never see.
- What customers are really saying. What reviews and comments give away, if you know how to read them.
- Where AI reads people wrong. Why AI can misread tone and sarcasm, and why a great average score can still hide unhappy customers.
- What to post, and when to label it as AI. A simple social media and AI policy your team can actually follow.
How the evening runs
7:00, the talk and your questions. 7:40, hands-on: bring a few of your own reviews or comments, and we run them through AI together. 8:10, meet the room. 8:30, done.
