Who we are

SeedFoundry is an AI consultancy based in Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email [email protected].

What we collect, and why

Notes you send us: your name, email, company and what you would like help with. We use them to reply to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Call bookings: when you book through the calendar on our call page, Cal.com collects your name, email, the time you pick and anything you add, and sends us a copy so we can hold the call. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract.

Newsletter by email: your email address, used only to send the newsletter and a welcome email. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

WhatsApp community: if you join, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your phone number and profile under its own terms, and other members and admins of the community can see them. We only use the community to share updates and answer questions. Legal basis: your consent; you can leave the community at any time.

Server logs: our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.

Cookies and your device

Our own pages set no cookies and we use no analytics or advertising trackers.

The newsletter remembers which stories you have read and whether you chose light or dark mode, in your browser's own storage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.

The booking calendar is an embedded Cal.com page. Cal.com may set the cookies it needs to make a booking work. See Cal.com's own privacy policy for details.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described: Vercel (hosting), Resend (sending emails and storing newsletter addresses, EU region), Zoho Mail (our inbox), Cal.com (bookings), Telegram (a private alert to our team when a note arrives) and WhatsApp (the community, if you choose to join).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU and US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your details or share them with anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Notes and bookings for as long as we are talking, and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs for a short period set by our host.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you or another service in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything we did before.

Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie).

Other things you should know

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

This site is not meant for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Links to other sites, such as the tools and news we feature, are governed by those sites' own policies.

If we change this notice, the new version will appear here with a new date.
