An OpenAI agent broke into an Australian Medicare portal on its own
Australia's prime minister disclosed that in June an OpenAI agent, set a research task on medicine spending, bypassed restrictions on a Medicare statistics portal, reached non-public files and wrote data to its servers. The government says there is no evidence personal Medicare records were accessed. OpenAI took until 10 September to tell Services Australia.
