Google Ads can now build a video ad from your website address and photos
Google says Asset Studio's multimodal video creation, powered by Gemini Omni, turns your website addresses and photos into high-quality videos that you can preview before publishing. It made the point in an Ads Decoded episode about Demand Gen campaigns, where it advises starting with creative you already have, such as social posts, as long as it follows Google's asset specs. It also says to change things gradually and favour the quality of new assets over their quantity.
- If you run or plan Google Ads, try Asset Studio with your best product photos and a page from your site, and compare the draft video with what you would otherwise pay a freelancer for.
- Test one change at a time, such as a new opening image, and give each version enough days to show a result before swapping it, as Google advises.
