Gartner: the big AI vendors are not enterprise-ready yet
The Register· 14 SepAt its IT Symposium in Australia, Gartner analysts said trust in the leading AI labs is not yet warranted. The labs change models often, with a lifespan of about six months, and updates can break applications built on them. Gartner research found 86% of CIOs see AI risks growing faster than the value it creates.
- Before you build a process on an AI model, note which version it uses and test again whenever it changes.
- Use plain automation, such as a formula or a simple integration, where it does the job. Not every task needs an agent.
