Engadget explains how to get Claude Duet: Pro and Max subscribers in the US join a waitlist first
Engadget reports that Anthropic released Claude Duet on 21 October as an always-on agent that can complete tasks for you when you are away from your phone or computer. In the preview it is limited to Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US, and you must first join a waitlist on Anthropic's website. Anthropic says Duet will be a perk of the $20 a month Pro plan and up.
- If you are a Pro or Max subscriber in the US, join the waitlist on Anthropic's website and describe one real job you would hand off, since the form asks for it.
- Before you connect any apps to an always-on agent, decide which ones you are happy for it to act in, and leave email and banking out until you have seen how it behaves.
