ChatGPT ads reach 89 countries after 26 more launch, with 100,000 advertisers and self-serve sign-up
OpenAI is adding 26 countries to ChatGPT Ads, taking it to 89, just over eight months after launch. It says more than 100,000 advertisers have run campaigns and more than 1.2 billion people use ChatGPT each week. Businesses can buy through technology partners or self-serve in Ads Manager. Ads are labelled, kept separate from answers, and conversations stay private from advertisers.
- If you advertise on Google or Facebook, open ads.openai.com and check whether your country is on the list before you spend anything. Start with a small test budget.
- As a ChatGPT user, remember that ads show only on Free and Go. If they bother you, a paid plan removes them, and you can check what each plan includes in Settings.
