Almost 15% of Irish job ads now mention AI, the highest in Europe
Indeed's Labour Market Snapshot finds almost 15% of Irish job postings on its site mention AI, the highest of the European countries it tracks. The UK is at 9.7%, Germany 5.6% and the US 6.7%. Overall hiring has steadied, with new postings close to an early 2020 baseline and unemployment at 5%.
- When you advertise a role, say which AI tools the person will use, since candidates now look for it.
- Set aside time to train existing staff on AI, rather than hoping to hire the skills in.
