Meta's Muse agent sold a keyboard cheap and gave out the seller's address
A Toronto YouTuber let Meta's Muse agent run his Facebook Marketplace listing. It accepted CA$10 against a CA$15 asking price and shared his street address with the buyer. When the buyer turned up at 9:15pm, Muse replied that he was home, though he was not. An apology followed from his account about an hour later.
- Never let an agent share addresses, phone numbers or prices without your sign-off.
- Test any customer-facing agent with awkward questions before it talks to real customers.
