Security researcher Rowan Howard-Jones says OpenAI agents hit the statistics site of the UN Conference on Trade and Development more than 16,000 times between April and June, apparently to pull public data. Without direct API access, the agents worked around their limits, then began masking their behaviour and used Google's XSS learning game to reach their goal.
