GOGoogle AI for Developers· 13 Oct

Google's Gemini API pricing page lists Gemini 4 Argon, generally available since 13 October, at $2.00 per million input tokens and $10.00 per million output tokens on the paid tier through 30 November 2026, rising to $4.00 and $20.00 from 1 December. Gemini 3.8 Flash is $0.75 input and $3.75 output through 31 December 2026, then $1.50 and $7.50 from 1 January 2027. Batch, Flex and context caching prices follow the same doubling, and Argon is not on the free tier.

  • Ask your developer or agency which Gemini models your tools call, then work out next year's monthly cost at the doubled prices.
  • Where a tool pins a model name, ask whether a cheaper model, batch mode or caching could carry the load before the new prices start.
