IDC forecasts that European organisations will spend nearly $470 billion on AI in 2030, growing 35% a year from 2025. Agentic AI is the main driver, as companies move from single copilots to several agents working together. Software takes 54.9% of spending in 2026. IDC says AI investment is the priority firms protect first when cutting elsewhere.
