OpenAI halves its API prices with GPT-6 Sol and Luna
OpenAI released GPT-6 Sol at $2 per million input tokens and $10 output, and Luna at $0.10 and $0.50, half or less of the 5.6 series. It came 90 minutes after Anthropic cut Opus prices. For anything you run through an API, the cost of the same work just fell again.
