RTE reports that Zalando has unveiled its first AI shopping agent, which will let customers buy products from other online retailers without leaving the Zalando app. The company plans to launch AI-assisted checkout on its Zalando Extended platform in 2027, and a pilot with the home furnishings retailer Westwing is under way. Zalando also reported third-quarter revenue up 5.1% to 3.17 billion euros and a gross margin down 0.9 points to 38.7%.

If you shop on Zalando, nothing changes yet: the agent checkout is planned for 2027, so keep paying the way you do now.
