Capcom will use AI to speed up how it makes games, but not to make the art
At its Capcom Open Conference, programmer Satoshi Ishida said the next version of the studio's RE Engine is being rebuilt to become a game engine for the AI generation. The aim is to use AI to speed up development as games and their assets grow larger and take longer to make. Capcom has said before that it will not put AI-generated content in its games.
