Security tools can now watch what staff share with Claude
More than 100 security and compliance vendors now connect to the Claude Compliance API, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Purview, Splunk, Cloudflare, Okta and Vanta. Enterprise customers can send prompts, responses, file uploads, Claude Code activity, logins and admin changes into tools they already use. Platform customers get activity events only. Only the Enterprise Primary Owner can switch it on.
- If you use Claude Enterprise, check whether your existing security or compliance tool is on the list before buying another.
- Tell staff in writing that AI chats may be monitored, and why, before you turn monitoring on.
