Detectify analysed 1,293 customers in the US, UK and the Nordics. Of critical and high-severity flaws still open, 92% in the UK, 97% in the Nordics and 86% in the US had been exposed for more than 90 days. UK firms have closed just 18.6% of such findings. Organisations with AI tools such as Lovable, Base44 or Open WebUI exposed online fix critical flaws at less than half the usual rate.
- List every web app and AI tool your business has put online, including ones built quickly with an app builder, and who looks after each.
- Set a rule that critical security fixes go in within a week, and check monthly that it happens.
