Claude now works inside Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, in public beta on every paid plan

Anthropic released Claude for Google Workspace in public beta on all paid Claude plans. Claude opens in a sidebar next to your Doc, Sheet or deck, reads what is open and the part you have selected, and edits it in place. In Sheets it writes formulas, pivot tables and charts. In Slides it builds slides from your own layouts. By default it shows an approval card for each change and waits for a yes.

• If your team lives in Google Workspace, install the add-on from the Workspace Marketplace and try it on one real file, such as a monthly budget sheet or a quote template.
• Leave it on "Ask before edits" at first, and check any formula or figure it writes before it goes to a customer.
