Over 100 fake AI subscription sites share one $249 toolkit

Malwarebytes· 21 Sep

Malwarebytes found more than 100 linked subscription sites built on the same $249 website starter kit. Some copy real names, including GPT-6 Astra, DaVinci Resolve, PixAI and OpenCut. They use genuine Google sign-in screens to look legitimate, then sell plans from under $10 a month to over $2,000 a year. Most show no company name, business address or checkable contact.

  • Before anyone on your team pays for an AI tool, find the official site through a separate search or an app store listing, not an ad or a link.
  • Read Google's consent screen before you continue. If the developer contact is a free webmail address, not the brand, stop.
