Anthropic renames Claude Max 20x as Ultra at 200 dollars a month and drops the five-hour limit for verified accounts

Claude Help Center· 30 Oct

Anthropic's Claude Help Center says the Max 20x plan is now called Ultra. Existing Max 20x subscribers move automatically with no change in price. Ultra costs 200 dollars a month on the web, gives 10 times the Pro plan's usage every week, and has no five-hour limit for verified accounts. The page says mobile pricing may differ by app platform, and that prices and plans are subject to change.

  • If you are on Max 20x, you need to do nothing: check your plan page to see the new name and that the price is unchanged.
  • If you hit the five-hour limit on a cheaper plan, read Anthropic's page on verified accounts before you pay 200 dollars a month, since the no-limit benefit depends on it.
