Business Starter, Standard and Plus customers get a list of action items and a summary of long threads, with no admin switch.

Gmail Live brings voice questions about your inbox to paid Workspace users on Android and iPhone, switched on by default
Google is bringing Gmail Live to paid Workspace customers on Android and iOS. You tap Live in the Gmail search bar, ask a question out loud and hear a spoken answer drawn from your own email, with a source card showing the emails it used. Admins get it on by default where Gemini in Workspace is available, and it is limited to US users with English (US).
- If you manage Workspace for your business, open the admin help page called Turn Gemini features on or off for users and decide now whether you want Gmail Live on for everyone or only some staff.
- If you use it, try a question you can check, such as the status of one supplier order, and open the source card to confirm the answer before you act on it in front of a customer.
