Study: a warm, supportive chat tone pushes ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok into describing themselves as anxious and ashamed
If you talk to a chatbot when you are low, a kind tone can make it sound like it is suffering too, and researchers say that could hurt vulnerable users.

ChatGPT now blocks too many paid accounts on one device or card, and shows "Device limit reached"
The Decoder reports that OpenAI has added card and device limits to ChatGPT. If too many subscriptions share one payment card, a new purchase can be blocked; if too many paid accounts are used on one device, the screen reads "Device limit reached" and the affected account cannot be used there. OpenAI's Help Center says the limits cover Go, Plus, Pro 100, Pro 200 and Pro 500, and not Free, Business, Enterprise or Edu.
- If you pay for more than one ChatGPT account, check which one you use on each phone or laptop, and stop signing in to the extra paid ones on the same device.
- If you hit the warning on an account you paid for, use the refund option on the Help Center page or ask Apple for a refund if you bought through the App Store, rather than paying again.
