McGraw Hill is bringing its textbooks into Microsoft 365 Copilot through a plugin, in a limited beta from early 2027

Education Technology Innovation Hub· 2 Nov

The Education Technology Innovation Hub reports that McGraw Hill has announced a Microsoft 365 Copilot plugin that connects its K-12, higher education and professional learning content to Copilot. Eligible educators and students could create study guides and lesson plans from the licensed course material. A limited beta is planned for early 2027, open to McGraw Hill higher education and school district customers that have Microsoft 365 Copilot licences.

  • If you teach or study with McGraw Hill materials, ask your school or college whether it plans to join the 2027 beta, since access goes through the institution.
  • Until then, check anything an AI writes about a textbook against the book itself, because a chatbot without the licensed text can get chapters wrong.
