Study: a warm, supportive chat tone pushes ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok into describing themselves as anxious and ashamed

Musk says Grok Bot costs too much to run, as paying users report hitting their weekly limit early
Anadolu reports that Elon Musk said on Sunday, on X, that "the cost of serving Grok Bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue". He was replying to a user who asked for a reset of the weekly usage allowance after subscribers reported using it up much faster than usual. Musk gave no cost or revenue figures and did not say whether limits would change. Grok Bot, an agent with its own virtual computer, launched in beta in August.
- If you pay for SuperGrok or Cursor mainly for Grok Bot, look at how much of your weekly allowance you used and by which day, so you can judge whether the plan still suits you.
- Do not prepay for a long Grok plan until xAI says what the limits will be, and compare with the free tier of other assistants before you commit.
