Claude's new smart reports let employers see what staff use the AI for, including 'personal or off-topic' chats
If your company pays for Claude, your manager can now ask it for a report on what you have been using it for.

The Gemini app can now create and edit documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and slides inside the chat, for everyone
Google says you can now generate, preview and edit documents, PDFs, presentations, spreadsheets, code and more right within a Gemini chat. You can expand a file to full screen, type edits directly, highlight text to ask questions, or ask Gemini to refine it. PDF preview and editing works on the web and mobile. Google Docs, Google Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, text files and code are web only. Google says it is available to all users in all languages where the Gemini app is available.
- Open gemini.google.com, ask for a one-page document or a PDF, then highlight a paragraph and ask Gemini to shorten it.
- Check the figures and names in anything Gemini writes before you send it to a customer, since you are editing a draft and not a finished file.
