Nvidia raised the price of its Shield TV Pro streaming box from $199.99 to $299.99 from 2 October, even though the device first came out in 2019. Nvidia told Ars Technica that the cost of components, including memory, has risen sharply across the industry. Ars says anything with memory or storage is getting more expensive as AI data centres soak up supply.
