Dutch shops pull Meta camera glasses over privacy fears
Two retailers have stopped selling them while the Dutch government looks at a ban.

Meta's Muse agent can now shop and check out for customers
CNBC explains how shopping works in Meta's Muse agent, which a Meta spokesperson says is one of its biggest uses. A shopper asks for an item, Muse browses retail sites and suggests listings, then prepares the checkout and shows an approval card to confirm. Payment runs through Link by Stripe or Shopify's Shop Pay. Meta will take a small fee on transactions.
- If you sell online, check that your product pages state the price, stock and delivery terms in plain text, because that is what a shopping agent reads.
- If your shop runs on Shopify or takes Stripe, look at whether Shop Pay or Link is switched on, since those are the checkouts Muse can use today.
