YouTube moves Subscriptions out of the bottom bar and adds custom feeds you describe in your own words
YouTube is removing the Subscriptions tab from the bottom bar of its Android and iOS apps after nearly a decade. It moves to a top bar on Home, followed by dedicated Live, Music and Movies and TV feeds. Alongside it, custom feeds let you type what you want to see. Free users can save three, Premium members eight. They start in English for signed-in US viewers and will reach other countries.
- Look for Subscriptions on the top bar of your Home tab. If you run a business channel, tell your regular viewers where to find it.
- If custom feeds have reached you, tap the plus at the top of Home and describe a work topic, such as 'bookkeeping tips under 10 minutes', to get a feed you can return to.
